Telemedicine provider HealthSpot is out to improve health care access in Ohio, the company announced in a release.
HealthSpot intends to connect medical providers and patients in Ohio's health systems by rolling out 100 telemedicine stations in the state. The pharmacy-based health kiosks are designed to provide easy-access care, especially for patients who travel long distances to urgent care facilities and hospitals.
HealthSpot plans to target areas with frequent emergency room visits and longer patient wait times, the company said.
